The Story of Baptes

My name is Beatriz, I’m from Braga, and I study Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.

How did the idea for this project come about? I started by creating and gifting watercolors to my family and friends. It was through those first paintings that I realized how deeply my art could touch others.

But why Baptes? Baptes comes from Baptista, my grandmother’s name — a woman who has always supported my dream of pursuing a career in the arts.

I hope my work reflects this passion of mine. Thank you for being here and for being part of the journey I’m building!
